There has reportedly been a documentary being filmed based on the NHL lockout of 2004-05. Many questions linger on the origin of the salary cap and how the owners were able to score such a decisive victory.
With the current CBA about to expire and the very real possibility of another work stoppage, I felt it was important to look back on this important chapter of the leagues history.
You know what they say..."In order to see the future, we must understand our past".
