How The Lockout Was Won.

There has reportedly been a documentary being filmed based on the NHL lockout of 2004-05. Many questions linger on the origin of the salary cap and how the owners were able to score such a decisive victory.

With the current CBA about to expire and the very real possibility of another work stoppage, I felt it was important to look back on this important chapter of the leagues history.

You know what they say..."In order to see the future, we must understand our past".

Or some shit like that.

Here is a deleted scene from the film well in advance of it's release.

Update*** I've been told I should put NSFW up on this one...so wait till you get home and offend your family instead. I apologize, "Fuck" isn't a swear word where I work. It's verb, noun and pronoun.

I think I see my brother in the crowd behind Peddie. The bastard never gets me any of those free teacher's tickets.

You and DGB need to coordinate so you're not posting on the same days.

Thank you for this excellent piece of cinimatic work. Your capturing of Jerry Moyes' Douchbaggery was superb.
