Rod Brind'Amour was always my idea of the perfect captain in the post lockout NHL.
It was with shock and then understanding that I learned that the Carolina Hurricanes replaced Brind'Amour as captain with Eric Staal.
Then I got over it and ate some Frosted Corn Flakes...damn that shit is good.
I wouldn't have started thinking about the Carolina situation again had a blogging buddy from Raleigh not sent me a video of the whole meeting.
It went a lot differently than what was reported!
Let's hope Brind'Amour does better than Jay Leno after passing the torch...
