Nah, just kidding. It never gets old. And yeah, I'd be surprised if this didn't turn out to be true. Of course, the contracts Sather hands out don't seem quite as insane once you stop to think about it. After all, as a player you should by now be well aware that signing with the Rangers will kill off your career in a hurry, so you'll need to at least feel financially secure while slowly wasting away as a healthy scratch or in the AHL.
